Holly Charles

Founder

Holly Charles is the founder of The Holly Grove and a respected spiritual practitioner, educator, and speaker whose work bridges consciousness, culture, wellbeing, and community leadership. With a career shaped by academic study, frontline service, and more than two decades of sustained spiritual practice, she brings depth, discernment, and credibility to a field often defined by trend rather than substance.

Raised within a family-run business in the centre of Cardiff, Holly developed an early understanding of enterprise, responsibility, and human connection. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in the study of Popular Music, with academic research exploring music therapy and the role of music in identity formation—foundations that continue to inform her integrative, systems-level approach to healing, communication, and personal development.

Her professional path expanded through extensive training in holistic and complementary therapies, resulting in multiple diplomas across a wide range of global healing modalities, alongside formal accreditation as a spiritual healer. During this period, her commitment to ethical living and environmental responsibility was recognised through a sustainable development award, reflecting values that remain central to both her work and the ethos of The Holly Grove.

Over the past sixteen years, Holly has built and sustained an independent practice with a broad and diverse client base, working privately, within established clinical settings, and in collaboration with charitable and frontline organisations. Her work has supported individuals with additional needs, people experiencing homelessness and addiction recovery, and women and young people navigating domestic violence, exploitation, and trauma. Her contribution to these sectors has been recognised through formal awards and through her involvement in pioneering early-intervention and empowerment initiatives.

Alongside her clinical and community-based work, Holly has maintained a visible presence as a spiritual teacher and public speaker, working across churches, development circles, retreats, and mind–body–spirit platforms. Known for her grounded delivery and philosophical clarity, she has led workshops, group programmes, mentoring spaces, and women’s circles, both in person and online.

Holly is also the host of the Magick Soup Podcast, where she explores spirituality, consciousness, and modern life through thoughtful conversation and reflective inquiry, extending her voice into the wider cultural dialogue. Her work now spans digital education, membership-based communities, retreats across Wales and England, and collaborations with award-winning social enterprises.

With over twenty years devoted to spiritual inquiry and sixteen years as a business owner and entrepreneur, Holly founded The Holly Grove as a curated space for conscious living, personal sovereignty, and meaningful connection—to self, to nature, and to purpose. The Grove reflects not only her professional experience, but her belief in spirituality that is grounded, ethical, and deeply human.
